Rookery Studios are set in several acres of landscaped west facing gardens. Surrounded by mature trees and shrubs they provide an ideal backdrop for film and photography work.

Amongst the numerous outbuildings is an ornate building that was once the rookery but now is home to a number of white doves.

There is a large landscaped pond which has become overgrown but is due for refurbishment in February 2008.

Measuring 20' by 15' and currently equipped with 5 electronic flash heads this studio is suitable for portrait, fashion, glamour for individuals and small groups. 

During early 2008 the current lighting will be replaced by a new 6 light computer controlled system. 

The floor is carpeted with short pile tiles, we can also provide a number of vinyl floor coverings. 

We provide a choice of paper or fabric backdrops and there is also a Lastolite HiLite for use as a hi-key background or massive softbox.

Studio B is our daylight studio, it has windows to three sides including large west facing full height patio style doors running the full length of the room. All windows have vertical louvre blinds to help control light.

We can also provide flash and constant hot or cold lighting for use in the studio.

The studio measures 30' x 15' and has a carpeted floor. A choice of other floor coverings are available and a portable backdrop system can also be provided. 

Studio C is the smallest studio measuring 15' square with windows to 2 sides. Black out panels are provided for all the windows which also have vertical louvre blinds.

Standard lighting is 2 400ws flash heads with a choice of soft boxes or brollies, we can also provide constant lighting with hot or cold heads.

Studio A is currently undergoing refitting and will include a new 6 light computer controlled high speed flash system.

We have a selection of other flash units for use throughout the facility, including 160ws, 250ws and 400ws. We also include the usual choice of softboxes, brollies, snoots, barn doors and gels.

For those requiring constant light we have both cool and hot lights.

NEW: Lastolite Highlite, great for hi-key backgrounds but can also be used as a massive soft box.

Studio hire includes lighting. Minimum hire for all studios is 2 hours, a deposit of 25% is required when booking with the balance payable 7 days prior to the date booked. Please read our terms and conditions.

Use of dressing rooms is included in the hire charge, during busy times these may have to be shared with other clients. If you require private dressing rooms please request it when booking and we will endeavour to provide them. 

The studios are available from 8.00am until 11.00pm 7 days a week, 8.00am to 9.00am and 6.00pm to 11.00pm are charged at a higher rate. The daily rate is from 9.00am to 6.00pm. 

All prices are inclusive of VAT.
